We went to Alaska with EVERYONE. By everyone I mean my whole family, my Grandpa, cousins, and a few boyfriends/girlfriends thrown in there too (except Melissa). All in all we had 17 people in the group. Wow. We took a cruise up the inner passage of Alaska and visited Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Victoria (Canada).

We went on a whale watching tour in Juneau. It was awesome! We saw a ton of whales, and the kids had fun running around the boat.

trying to keep the kids from jumping overboard!

WHALES!

After the whale watching tour we took a tram up to the top of Juneau and took a little hike. The girls found blueberries and raspberries to pick.

We ate A LOT on the ship. What else were you gonna do??

Love this look on Kenz

The whole crew!

OK, here's where I get upset...This is a picture of Kenzie eating her first hamburger. Yes, her first. Dave was with her (of course) and I wasn't there (of course!) She said she liked it....if I have any say that'll be her first and LAST!
We took a tour of the Alaskan rain forest (who knew Alaska had a rain forest?)

Here's Dave teaching Kenzie something about fungus, I'm sure!

They had a bald eagle there that was injured.

Everyone!

Glacier Bay
One of the coolest things we did was take a helicopter tour to a glacier. They had some sled dogs there and the family went on sled dog rides. (OK, not me. It's a PETA thing.)

Kenzie and Maddie in all their gear ready for the helicopter ride. Aren't they cute?

I love Maddie's squishy face here!

In Victoria, we went to Butchart Gardens. The gardens were beautiful, but the highlight for the kids was this Irish band that played. They danced and danced until the band left the stage. Then after dark they had a fireworks display. The kids were in heaven!

Wow, what an awesome trip! We've always wanted to go to Alaska!
Looks awesome. I love all your pictures! Umm... was that a picture of Dave wearing SHORTS on the Alaskan ice? Your pictures SO made me miss the ocean, I'm feeling a little landlocked.
LOL! Yes! Dave's a little crazy. Shorts all year long.
