Happy Halloween!

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch before Halloween to pick out their pumpkins, we could only find HUGE ones that were too big to carry, the kids loved em' of course!

Kenzie wanted to be Ariel, and Maddie wanted to be Snow White, we are definitely up to our ears in princesses over here!

Cute little girls out trick-or-treating
We went for the traditional trick-or-treating over at Grandma and Grandpa's house, and of course ate our traditional pizza over there too....we love having my mom and dad so close to do all these fun things with!

Kenzie had a school parade and a party. My Mom and Dad showed up to watch her in the parade, but I didn't get a good picture of that...so here's her at her party with all of her other princess friends

And She's Off!!!

Kenzie has been working on her incremental marathon program called "Kids Running America". It was a really cool program where she slowly builds up her 26.2 miles and gets to run the last mile at the Denver Marathon. She did great, and we are so proud of her! She finished in 11:20, pretty dang fast for a 5 year old! She even got a medal at the end! She wants to do it again next year! Go Kenz!

She was excited to get an official race number!

Grandma and Grandpa came to cheer her on!

Posing with her best buddies, Paige and Rileigh
Runnin' with Mom!

Cool medal!

Resting with Dad at the end with some Gatorade

Cute Kids

We drove up to the mountains with Kat and Todd to take some fun pics of the kids! Here they are!

Disney World

We finally took the kids to Disney World! They were in heaven the whole week! I thought taking them in the fall would be a good idea. It was still REALLY hot, but there were hardly any lines during the week and the kids got to ride their favorite rides over and over and over again!
We stayed at one of the Disney resorts, and it was nice being so close, and the kids liked having a pool that they could play in. For some reason I don't have any pictures of the swimming pool, but Kenzie loved it because they had a big water slide. We spent most of the time at Magic Kingdom. My kids just wanted rides the entire time. I tried to talk them into Animal Kingdom, they kept refusing. Oh well, this was their vacation anyway, right?

Their first ride was the carousel. Maddie called it the horsey ride, of course

Meeting Ariel, Kenzie's favorite Princess! I asked her if she was going to tell Ariel she was her favorite, and she said that she was going to try, but I should tell Ariel if Kenzie got too shy. She wasn't too shy!

Maddie called this ride the hippo ride, can't quite figure out where that one comes from, but it was one of her favorites

The kids could have gone on the tea cups a million times, I think we stopped at 20. Dave went once, and decided spinning rides still weren't for him, no matter how hard he tries!

Meeting Belle with their ears on.

Kenzie waiting for the fireworks to start. They had a really great fireworks display. The girls loved that part.

Ask Kenzie what her favorite ride is, and she'll tell you Splash Mountain! The first time she went on we got to the big hill, and she said "Mom, this is too scary I don't' like it". The second we got down from the hill, she said "Mom let's do it again!" she's a thrill-seeker for sure. I can't tell you how many times she rode this.
This was also the first time that Kenzie was tall enough to ride the "big kid" roller coasters, she rode Thunder Mountain Railroad lots too. We went back and forth between that and the kiddie coaster with Maddie.

The girls having lunch with the Winnie the Pooh bunch

We went to Epcot one day. Not much for Maddie to do, but they have a Nemo exhibit that they liked. Kenzie got to ride Soarin' with me and did the test track race car with Dave. After that we got to have lunch with all the princesses!

My cute little princess! She wanted to have a princess Aurora dress because it was pink!

Cinderella got a huge kick out of Maddie! We told her to say "cheese" and Maddie was screaming it (of course!). She was laughing so hard at her!

The entire trip they were begging for lollipops, we finally caved. Happy girls.

Kenzie's Ballet Recital

Kenzie had her second ballet recital and did great! She absolutely loves getting up on the stage and dancing!

I love this picture just because all 3 girls are doing completely different moves! It's hilarious!

We are so proud of her!

First Day of Kindergarten!

It's hard to believe I have a kindergartner! Kenzie went off to her first day of school with zero problems at all. She loves school and was really excited to go. She picked out her backpack and picked out her favorite shirt to wear. We got there and she stood in her new kindergarten line and waited for her teacher, Mrs. Harris to come get the kids. We all got to go into her class and her teacher read "The Kissing Hand" to all the kids. After Kenzie found her desk and gave Maddie and I a big hug and kiss and it was time for school to start!

Waiting in line with her friend Rileigh who is in her class with her
