I am so glad that Maddie is finally old enough to "play" with Kenzie. At this point she has to do everything that Kenzie does, so it's nice sometimes (like when they play outside together), and not so nice others (like when Maddie insists on cracking eggs when we're cooking just like Kenzie). I thought it was cute the way that Maddie had to color with Kenzie. It's nice to know that she's finally getting out of that baby stage!
Kenz wanted to make cupcakes. When we do this, Kenzie pulls a chair up to the counter top and she puts in every ingredient. This time, Maddie followed right behind her with a chair and we all cooked together. Maddie laughed when she got to crack an egg, but then got mad when I threw the shells away...she wanted to put them in the bowl! They were so cute cooking together and when the cupcakes were done they went on the back porch to eat them. Maddie had to have the exact same cupcake as Kenz...I forgot to put sprinkles on Maddie's, and you should have seen the tantrum! 
Really, how many pictures do I have to have of my kids eating cake like dogs???

Maddie looks so big! She doesn't look like a baby anymore. I love the pic with chocolate frosting all over her mouth. It is the best when your kids play nicely together. Not that I have much experience in that because mine hardly ever do. Boy I'm glad today was the first day of school!
Wow! I am still amazed at how different boys are than girls. Joseph isn't even close to being able to help with cooking. He'd be throwing everything all over the place, lol! It is nice when they can start playing together! I keep telling people that's why lots of kids are good- free entertainment!

I love those moments, unfortunately in a couple years, it's not so cool to cook with mom (well, you'll always be a COOL mom). Off the topic, you look amazing! Tell me your secrets - are you training for a triathalon? Maybe someday when i get off my butt, I'll look like you=)
So your next post had better be about your triathalon today! You did take pictures right? If not I am going to have to take matters into my own hands for the next one! I'm seriouly considering taking up doughnut eating with Jen while I watch you guys next time!!!! No, but seriously though, I would love to do one with you next year when I don't have a baby. Hope you kicked some butt and had fun!!
