I was reading Kenzie a book in her room the other night right before bed and I was looking at her hair. I thought to myself "oh cute, her hair looks like she has bangs, some of her baby hair must be growing out". Then I looked at it closer...hmmm that baby hair is all one length, and wasn't there yesterday!! I said "Kenzie, who cut your hair?" She gives me the most mischievous look and said "I did!" Of course we went over who is allowed to cut hair (anyone but her) and who is not allowed to cut hair (HER!).
I guess I got lucky as far as placement of the cut, it's not right in the middle of her head, and she cut it the length that bangs are, so for now, I guess I can just be happy that it could have been much worse! And in a few year, it will be Maddie's turn, I'm sure.

Hey! She did a good job! Most kids cut it all the way down- whew! I remember seeing red curls in the bathroom and feeling horror as I knew Sarah had done that to her hair. Well, she was tired of it getting in her face. Like her cousin though, she did a pretty good job ;)
She looks adorable! I would never have believed that she cut it herself. I love her little bangs.
